Refund & Cancellation Policy

Website: hotelbooking.siddhrans.in
Effective Date: 30 August 2026
Last Updated: 30 August 2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the cancellation, refund, modification, and no-show terms applicable to hotel reservations made through HotelBooking – Siddhrans Technologies (“HotelBooking”, “Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By making a reservation through our Platform, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy and the specific cancellation conditions displayed at the time of booking.

1. Cancellation of Hotel Bookings

Customers may cancel an eligible hotel reservation through the cancellation option provided on the Platform or by contacting our customer support team.

Cancellation eligibility and charges may depend on:

  • Hotel or accommodation provider

  • Room category

  • Rate plan

  • Check-in and check-out dates

  • Time remaining before check-in

  • Promotional or discounted rate

  • Free-cancellation period

  • Hotel-specific cancellation conditions

The cancellation conditions applicable to a particular booking will be displayed before the customer confirms the reservation.

2. Standard Cancellation Policy

Unless different cancellation terms are displayed during booking, the following standard cancellation policy may apply:

More than 72 hours before check-in:
100% of the refundable booking amount may be refunded.

48–72 hours before check-in:
Up to 25% cancellation charges may apply.

24–48 hours before check-in:
Up to 50% cancellation charges may apply.

Less than 24 hours before check-in:
The booking may be non-refundable and up to 100% cancellation charges may apply.

Where the hotel-specific cancellation terms differ from the above, the terms displayed and accepted by the customer at the time of booking will apply, subject to applicable law.

3. Free Cancellation

Where a booking is specifically marked “Free Cancellation”, the customer may cancel the reservation without a cancellation charge until the cancellation deadline displayed during booking.

Cancellation after the free-cancellation deadline may result in partial or complete forfeiture of the booking amount.

4. Non-Refundable Bookings

Certain reservations may be offered under special, promotional, discounted, advance-purchase, or non-refundable rates.

Where a booking is clearly identified as “Non-Refundable” before payment, cancellation may result in forfeiture of the entire booking amount.

Any exception will be subject to approval by the applicable hotel/accommodation provider and applicable law.

5. No-Show Policy

A booking may be treated as a No-Show if the guest fails to arrive at the hotel on the scheduled check-in date without cancelling the reservation within the permitted cancellation period.

Depending on the hotel's policy, the hotel may charge:

  • One night's room tariff;

  • A specified cancellation charge; or

  • Up to 100% of the booking amount.

The applicable no-show conditions will depend on the terms of the reservation.

6. Early Check-Out

If a guest checks out before the confirmed check-out date, HotelBooking does not guarantee a refund for the unused nights.

Any refund for an early departure will depend on the hotel's policy, rate plan, and approval.

7. Booking Modification

Requests to modify a reservation, including changes to:

  • Check-in date

  • Check-out date

  • Guest name

  • Number of guests

  • Number of rooms

  • Room category

  • Meal plan

  • Other reservation details

are subject to availability and the hotel's applicable terms.

Any difference in room tariff, taxes, or other applicable charges must be paid by the customer.

8. Cancellation by the Hotel

A hotel or accommodation provider may occasionally be unable to honour a confirmed reservation due to circumstances such as operational issues, property closure, overbooking, emergencies, or other unavoidable situations.

Where appropriate, HotelBooking may assist the customer with:

  • Alternative accommodation of a reasonably comparable standard, subject to availability; or

  • A refund of the eligible amount paid for the affected reservation.

9. Cancellation by HotelBooking

HotelBooking may cancel a reservation in circumstances including:

  • Payment failure

  • Fraudulent or suspicious transaction

  • Duplicate booking

  • Incorrect information supplied by the customer

  • Hotel/property becoming unavailable

  • Genuine technical or pricing errors

  • Violation of Platform terms

  • Government restrictions

  • Legal or regulatory requirements

  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

If HotelBooking cancels an eligible prepaid reservation and the customer is entitled to a refund, the applicable refund will be processed to the original payment method or another legally permitted method.

10. Refund Processing

Once a cancellation is successfully completed and the refund is approved, HotelBooking will normally initiate the eligible refund within 5–7 business days.

After initiation, the time required for the refund to appear in the customer's account may vary depending on:

  • Bank

  • Credit/debit card issuer

  • UPI service provider

  • Payment gateway

  • Wallet provider

  • Other payment service provider

Refunds will generally be credited to the original payment method used for the transaction.

11. Convenience Fees and Service Charges

Convenience fees, Platform fees, payment processing charges, service charges, or similar charges may be non-refundable where this was clearly disclosed before the customer completed the transaction and where permitted under applicable law.

Taxes will be refunded or adjusted in accordance with applicable tax laws and the nature of the cancellation.

12. Failed Transactions

If payment is debited from the customer's account but the booking is not successfully confirmed, the customer should first check the booking status.

If the amount is not automatically reversed within the applicable banking/payment processing period, please contact our support team with:

  • Customer name

  • Transaction ID

  • Payment date

  • Payment amount

  • Registered mobile number

  • Registered email address

  • Booking ID, if generated

We will assist in verifying the transaction with the applicable payment service provider.

13. Duplicate Payments

If a customer is charged more than once for the same booking due to a verified technical or payment processing issue, the eligible duplicate amount will be refunded after verification.

14. Refund Disputes

Customers who believe that an incorrect cancellation charge has been applied or an eligible refund has not been received may contact our customer support team.

Please provide:

  • Booking ID

  • Customer/guest name

  • Hotel name

  • Check-in and check-out dates

  • Registered email address

  • Registered mobile number

  • Transaction/reference number

  • Amount paid

  • Reason for the refund request

We will review the request and communicate the outcome.

15. Force Majeure

Cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control—including natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, severe weather conditions, government restrictions, strikes, civil disturbances, epidemics, pandemics, or similar extraordinary events—will be handled according to the applicable hotel's terms and applicable Indian law.

Depending on the circumstances and hotel approval, customers may be offered a refund, rescheduling, credit, or another reasonable solution.

16. Third-Party Hotels and Accommodation Providers

HotelBooking operates as a platform through which customers may make reservations with independent hotels, resorts, homestays, serviced apartments, hostels, and other accommodation providers.

Each property may maintain its own cancellation, modification, no-show, and refund conditions.

Customers are therefore advised to carefully review the specific property's cancellation policy displayed before completing a reservation.
